2024 Ford Escape ST-Line FWD, Tech Pack #1, Equipment Group 300A â" EcoBoost 1.5L I-3 port/direct injection, DOHC, Ti-VCT variable valve control, intercooled turbo, premium gasoline engine with 180HP paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission, delivering eager acceleration and efficient everyday fuel use.
Tech Pack #1 brings a thoughtful combination of connectivity and driver-assist capability to the Escape, making navigation easier, highway driving less tiring, and keeping occupants connected on longer trips.
Equipment Group 300A provides a consistent factory-selected bundle that simplifies ordering while ensuring a dependable, value-oriented level of standard equipment.
Hands-on steering assist with lane centering helps the Escape stay neatly positioned in its lane, easing long-distance driving by reducing constant steering effort while keeping the driver engaged.
Forward collision mitigation continually watches the road ahead and readies warnings and braking support so you have extra preparation time to avoid or reduce the severity of frontal impacts.
Front pedestrian impact prevention enhances awareness of people in the vehicleâs path and can initiate preventive measures to help avoid collisions with pedestrians.
Adaptive cruise control with traffic stop-go adjusts speed to maintain a safe following gap and can bring the vehicle to a stop and resume in congested traffic, removing much of the stress from stop-and-go commutes.
Lane departure prevention senses unintended drifting and applies corrective steering or braking to help keep the vehicle centered in its lane for added peace of mind.
Rear collision mitigation monitors the area behind the vehicle and prepares safety systems to help reduce the impact of a rear-end event, boosting occupant protection.
Brake assist detects urgent braking situations and applies maximum available stopping force more quickly, improving the Escapeâs ability to respond when sudden stops are needed.
The rear camera supplies a clearer view when reversing, making parking maneuvers and backing out of tight spots safer and less stressful.
An onboard mobile hotspot turns the Escape into a convenient internet hub so passengers can stream, work, or stay connected without relying solely on individual phone data plans.
Smart device wireless mirroring brings compatible phone apps to the vehicleâs display so navigation and media are easier to use while keeping attention on the road.
Steering-wheel mounted cruise controls let you set and adjust speed without removing your hands from the wheel, reducing fatigue on longer drives and helping maintain steady efficiency.
With its turbocharged EcoBoost engine, a broad suite of safety technologies, and available Tech Pack connectivity, the 2024 Ford Escape ST-Line FWD balances a sporty feel with everyday practicalityâ"ideal for drivers who want mo

Great performance highway/city/winters
by Ed S on 8/25/2026 4:16:53 PM
Got the '21 SEL Hybrid used, and it's felt like a steal. I was moving from the south to the northern midwest, and needed a car that could hold family of 4+gear, had good mileage, good handling and driving all seasons, and really preferred some creature comforts. 3 months after purchase, I had to take it on the big test of 3k+ mile trip into the Dakotas, ending in a winter storm the last 250 miles. It handled everything wonderfully, and in comfort. MPG dropped to the low-mid 30's when I was doing pure highway, jumped up to low 40's with combo city/highway. No idea what people are complaining about on engine straining/noise, this thing has handled everything from driving 80 along the highways to climbing a steep grade hill during a blizzard. No issues at all, the AWD is a great need for my winters, and it's more modern features work well. My assumption is those complaining of engine noise/issues have had poor maintenance. I've kept up with mine very diligently, and have nice tires in place to help with winters here. The interesting positive is my year/model came with a map nav and sync as standard. So it has mapping/updating/etc all built in. But I never use it as I still prefer my phone Android Auto setup. Biggest complaint is it feels like there's just not quite enough space in the back, even when dropping the seats. You can fit luggage/hardware/gear in there, but you'll need to be creative. I ended up getting the roof rack as a fall-back for bigger things. - 5.0

Great SUV
by TucsonC on 4/28/2026 7:31:49 PM
Bought my car brand new February 2023. It’s a 2022 model sports package. Love the way it handles. rarely uses gas as I do mostly in town errands. Smaller than my previous Non plug-in Ford Escape, but actually like it that way. Backseat does fold down and plenty of rear cargo room.
