The 2022 bZ4X Concept is expected to become a production model, with sales starting sometime next year.
2022 bZ4X Concept Highlights
The Toyota bZ4X SUV Concept is going to be designed and
manufactured in conjunction with Subaru. This new electric model features the sophisticated
e-TNGA BEV-dedicated platform.
2022 bZ4X Concept Engine & Performance
There's no information about the bZ4X powertrain yet, but we know that all-wheel drive will be standard equipment. This model could include dual electric motors, one for each axle, or it could route the power from one motor to both axles.
2022 bZ4X Concept Fuel Capacity & MPG
No word has been released yet regarding how far the bZ4X
might go on a single charge, but we expect it to be impressive.
2022 bZ4X Concept Trunk & Cargo Space
Initial photos and documents reveal a similar size to the
RAV4 models. With that in mind, we might see a cargo capacity reaching around
37 cubic feet behind the back seats and a total of 69 cubic feet if the seats
can be folded down.

As a cutting-edge model, we expect the new bZ4X to be equipped with the latest tech features on the market. The futuristic-looking dashboard showcases a digital gauge display and a large infotainment touchscreen. We also see that there is a wide console between the two front seats

As with all new Toyota models, the bZ4X will include tons of

Toyota has verified that the 2022 bZ4X will be about the size of a RAV4 SUV that measures 181-182″ L x 73″ W x 67-69″ H. At this time, we are unclear if it will be smaller or larger than those specs. We also don't know what color options will be available, but we expect it will be easy to customize the EV.
